Capt. Rob had the Dave Young charter out today in search of more of these big bass. They didn't have to go far, the schools of bunker were just off Asbury. Dave landed a nice 25 pound Striper on the first drop. The group had 2 other runoffs that were not typical of even the largest stripers. Both ended up being thresher sharks that ate the live bunker. Neither were landed but one of them put on quite a show with 4 jumps before it bit or chaffed through the mono leader. Later on in the trip, they anchored up at the rocks and caught 7 more bass and a dozen bluefish.
